Men, this is your commander speaking...
My name is Polter. I was a firefighter on the streets of Malton. That was, until I met with a man named Kenshin...
I rose up the ranks until I became his second-in-command...
We had about 20 people then in his organization...The Special Air Service...
I now come back to renew our group... Friends...Let the time of the SAS be now!
The fourth strike of the SAS begins today!

Here's how it's gonna work around here: We're gonna get back as many members as humanly possible, recruit some more from the Fort Creedy area, and start this organization again from Kenshin's original plans.
We're gonna have teams all over again, but this time it'll be more free-based.
We'll have Red Team as our Assualt Squad, Blue Team takes up as medics, and Yellow Team will be our scouts.
However, I'll allow mixed teams, allowing people from Red Team to function as Yellow members as well, and et cetera.
To represent this, each member will be given a colour designation. Red, Blue, and Yellow will be players with single jobs. The intermediate colours (Violet, Green, Orange) will be given as designations to members focusing on more than one area. And for last, Black members will have the priorities of all three teams.
This is to show what each available member is fully capable of, instead of having guess work on who's stocking up ammo and who's stocking on med-kits. There will be team forums for the Primary colours, and our main forums for all-around.
I want to see the SAS back in operational force!

All geared up and ready to rock! I'm back in action after a long stint of being AWOL...
Planning on making a new character and leaving PvtNewb to his own demise. What class should I lean more towards that would help out the SAS the most? Medic? Scout?

Of course I will allow you to operate as the SAS Head Polter. And I would like to just operate as a Black Member, as I will be a part of the SAS on a off and on basis.
The only problem that I see, though, is that if the SAS is to function, then you will need to constantly monitor this site. And thats really hard for someone who likes to go on hiatus for several weeks without telling anyone.
(But then I will gladly watch over the site and keep everyone in touch in the time that you are gone, as much as I can.)

Black's a little brave for you, eh? We have no such things as leaders for Black, Orange, Green, and Violet Teams.
We have the leaders for Red, Yellow, and Blue manage them. Let me go over the team progression...
The Chain of Command (CC) is as follows: There will be a {White Team} to be the commanding structure of the SAS.
Under the {White Team} will be the 3 Core, or Primary Teams.
The Core Teams are as follows: Red Team will be the main Fire and Assualt Squad. Blue Team will be the main Revivication and Medic Squad. Yellow Team will be the main Scouting and Barricading Squad.
Under the Core teams, there will be 7 types of members. Each member will be obliged to follow the news reports for each of the Core Teams. Red is a Red Team member, focusing on keeping large doses of shells and bullets at hand for a medicinal prescription for zeds and PKers. Blue members will follow the reports of Blue Team members. They should carry on-hand inventory lots of FAKs and Revivifiers, with optional light firearms. Yellow colour designates a Yellow Team member, with requirements in Free-Running and Radio Sets, and should keep track of the action in Malton by not only searching the city, but even forums of various groups.
The Intermediate colours are for identification purposes only, and should point out each person's individual traits as a player. I'm sure the we'll have Firearm-loaded Medics, along with Shotgun-loaded scouts for taking out enemy-owned buildings. Green members will be a part of both the Blue and Yellow teams. Violet designates those located in the Red and Blue team traits. Orange are those working steady with the Red and Yellow teams. Black members should have the traits of all three Core Squads, and should be ready for any emergency.
As you can see, these are all to tell who is able for all emergencies. The fact is, if we don't know what certain members are capable of, we can't launch a completely organized campaign. I want each member to choose thier Head Team (From the Core Teams) and their member colour. I want each member to have a heading telling thier Core Team, and in the colour of their member colour.
In addition, I want UD Profile names and Profile links located at the bottom of each person's signature, as well as their team colour so there will be no confusion. One problem I found from the old times is that we couldn't really tell who was who without thorough research in the forums.
I praise all those who have joined up for their second term at the SAS. This is the fourth coming of this great group, and it shall stand to the end!

Great to have you clowns back! Hopefully we can get most of the older members back and have a full prepared and active SAS reserve. I've made a medic named PvT UnSeEn. Look out for me.
